EXIGER Names Hong Hui Wong Associate Managing Director and Announces the Opening of its Hong Kong Office

NEW YORK & LONDON--()--EXIGER, the global regulatory and financial crime, risk and compliance firm today announced the appointment of Hong Hui Wong as Associate Managing Director and the opening of its Hong Kong office.

A specialist in economic sanctions compliance, Mr. Wong has held positions with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Most recently, he was the regional economic sanctions compliance manager and vice president for the Asia Pacific region at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. While there, he focused on economic sanctions compliance for 12 offices throughout the Asia Pacific region and advised on compliance issues related to the firm’s investment and corporate banking transactions.

Prior to Bank of America, Mr. Wong was executive director of the business intelligence group at Goldman Sachs, where he lead the business intelligence and reputational risk reviews of investment banking transactions in the South East Asia region. Before Goldman, Mr. Wong was a financial due diligence manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he assisted clients on mergers and acquisitions throughout Asia. He also performed statutory audits for financial institutions and telecommunications companies in accordance with Singapore and international financial reporting standards.

Mr. Wong received his Bachelor of Business & Commerce with a double major in accounting and banking and finance from Monash University Australia. He is an Australian Chartered Accountant (ICAA) and a member of The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts.
