U.S. News and Agent Ace Team Up to Help You Find the Best Real Estate Agent

SANTA MONICA, Calif. & WASHINGTON--()--U.S. News & World Report and Agent Ace, the data-driven real estate agent recommendation service, have launched a new consumer web portal at http://realestate.usnews.com/agents. The portal helps home buyers and sellers understand the dynamics in their own real estate markets and – using Agent Ace’s patented and unbiased search technology – get matched with real estate agents best suited to their needs. The service is currently available for approximately 70 U.S. markets, with new geographies being added every month.

“U.S. News & World Report is a great media partner, instantly expanding our reach nationwide,” said Mazen Fawaz, Agent Ace founder and CEO. “With its focus on consumer advice and decisions, U.S. News is a trusted resource for everything from choosing a college to planning for retirement. We look forward to helping them expand their consumer decision engine into Real Estate.”

“The new Best Agents service supports our mission to help people navigate life’s most important decisions,” said Chad Smolinski, Senior Vice President of U.S. News. “We already provide tools to help consumers find the right doctors and financial advisors using unbiased information. What we find exciting about working with Agent Ace is that, for the first time, we can help consumers find the right real estate agent based on actual data – in this case the agent’s performance track record. The Best Agents service provides a strong foundation for our expansion into helping consumers with Real Estate decisions.”

Launched in May 2013, Agent Ace uses historic home sale information, coupled with additional data points, to match homebuyers and sellers with the best real estate agent for their specific home. Homeowners can trust they are getting the best-matched agent for their transaction, while real estate agents get a qualified client who is matched to their strengths. Agent Ace is free to customers and does not accept advertising dollars from agents or have any sort of preferred agent group.
