LEXINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cartera Commerce, the leading provider of omni-channel marketing solutions that increase revenue and customer loyalty, announced that the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Karen Cambray has been named a finalist in the Boston Business Journal’s 2014 CFO of the Year Awards.
The awards program recognizes CFOs who make a difference in their companies and organizations. Judges looked at community involvement, leadership style and overall ability to guide the company. A panel of independent judges selected Cambray as one of three finalists in the midsize private company category.
“Karen’s outstanding ability to analyze a vision or risk and identify the best way to move forward makes her a unique financial leader,” said Tom Beecher, president and CEO of Cartera Commerce. “Though her charge is to guide the continued fiscal health of our company, Karen is consistently focused on the bigger picture and our ultimate business goal, which is ‘to make shopping more rewarding.’ She’s an integral part of our leadership team and we’re so pleased to see her hard work honored through this award nomination.”
Cambray joined Cartera in 2010. Under her financial direction, the company has grown to the largest, two-sided partner and merchant advertising network in the industry. More than 90 million consumers use the Cartera platform to access rewards programs and offers from the top banks and airlines, and more than 900 online retailers.
“I’m extremely humbled to be listed among this year’s impressive roster of CFOs,” Cambray said. “Cartera has come a long way the past few years and none of its accomplishments, including the ones I’ve had a hand in, would be possible without the strong team we have in place.”
Award winners will be announced at a luncheon today at the Sheraton Boston Back Bay.
