RapNet Symposium 2014

LAS VEGAS--()--RapNet – The Rapaport Diamond Trading Network, will be hosting the first RapNet Symposium at the W Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Sept. 7-8. The symposium is open to all members of the diamond and jewelry trade, and free for all RapNet members.

The symposium will focus on how the jewelry trade can use new technology to grow their business and increase profits. It will provide a meet and greet opportunity for individuals and companies that trade diamonds over the Internet. Special sessions for IT managers and software developers will also be provided.

Keynote speaker Robert Tucker will focus on vital innovation skills required to survive in today’s hyper-competitive e-World, and the Rapaport Group’s chairman, Martin Rapaport, will discuss the future of electronic trading in the diamond and jewelry industry. Additional speakers from Yahoo!, Silverline, Hubspot, i-showcase and Jewelers Security Alliance will make important presentations.

“Rapidly advancing information and communication technology is revolutionizing the diamond and jewelry trade. Retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers that do not innovate will go out of business. RapNet Symposium is an important and vital opportunity for members of our trade to get ahead of the technology curve and develop strategies that will ensure their future success. I strongly urge all RapNet members to attend the symposium,” said Rapaport.

The RapNet Symposium is free to all RapNet members and they are urged to stay at the W Hotel. The conference fee for non-RapNet members is $350.
