Executive Changes Taking Place at Stanadyne

WINDSOR, Conn.--()--Stanadyne (“Stanadyne,” or the “Company”) announced today the appointment of David P. Galuska as Chief Executive Officer. Galuska, who joined Stanadyne in 2012 as Chief Operating Officer, was previously with United Technologies Corporation, where he had a distinguished 33-year career with positions of increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President, Operations for Pratt & Whitney, Vice President, Operations for Hamilton Sundstrand and Vice President, Operations for Sikorsky Aircraft. “I am excited to continue working with the Stanadyne team to enhance our leading global position in customized fuel injection equipment by designing and producing industry-leading, highly engineered products for our customers around the world,” Galuska noted. Galuska will replace Robert G. Isaman, who will become Executive Chairman of Stanadyne’s Board of Directors. Isaman commented: “I have been impressed with Stanadyne’s best-in-class capabilities across design, engineering, and production. David Galuska is a world class executive, and Stanadyne is fortunate to have a CEO with his breadth of experience. Stanadyne also announced the election by Stanadyne’s Board of Directors of Dr. John A. Pinson, who has served as the Company’s Vice President and Chief Technical Officer since 2009, as President of Stanadyne. Pinson will also retain the position of Chief Technical Officer. Prior to joining Stanadyne in September 2009, Dr. Pinson served as Vice President, Diesel and Large Engines as well as Acting Vice President, Business Development and Marketing for Ricardo. Prior to joining Ricardo, Dr. Pinson spent 14 years with General Motors where he worked in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility within the R&D and Powertrain organizations including the FIAT-GM Powertrain joint venture in Turin, Italy. David P. Galuska, CEO of Stanadyne, noted “Following John’s successful management of the design and launch of our industry-leading Gasoline Direct Injection and Diesel Common Rail products, I am looking forward to working together to innovate customized fuel injection equipment solutions that allow our customers to differentiate their market offerings through superior quality and technology.”

James D. Wiggins, who previously served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Stanadyne, will remain as a member of Stanadyne’s Board of Directors and in his position as Operating Partner at Kohlberg & Company. “Following our recent product innovations and divestiture of our Filtration business, Stanadyne is very well positioned for continued growth as a focused leader in its fuel systems end markets around the world,” Wiggins noted. Robert G. Isaman, Executive Chairman of Stanadyne, noted: “On behalf of the Board of Directors of Stanadyne, I wish to thank James for his distinguished service to the Company. James guided some of the most significant new product and market development initiatives in Stanadyne’s history, with notable successes including the opening of a new manufacturing facility in China, expansion of the Company’s manufacturing capacity and capabilities in India, and commercial relationships with many new customers around the world. We appreciate his leadership through this commercial repositioning of the Company and look forward to his continuing involvement on the Board of Directors.”
