HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Joule Processing, LLC (“Joule”), a provider of natural gas processing and treating solutions, today announced the addition of Chuck Laughter to its executive management team. An industry veteran with 28 years of experience, Laughter will serve as Joule’s vice president of engineering and operations. He comes to Joule from Audubon Engineering, where he served as vice president of midstream, leading the development of projects with values ranging from $5 million to $350 million.

Laughter’s responsibilities will include leading all efforts related to detailed engineering and operations, with a focus on the successful execution of major projects. Joule provides natural gas producers and midstream companies with a wide range of standard and customized natural gas processing and treating solutions, including refrigeration, fractionation, stabilization and amine treating plants. Launched in 2009, the company has completed projects in multiple domestic shale plays including the Bakken, Marcellus, Utica, Eagle Ford, Woodford, Monterey, Powder River Basin, Uinta Basin and the Niobrara Shale, as well as internationally in Mexico, Indonesia and Colombia.

Laughter has a long history in operations, engineering and business development. Prior to joining Joule, Laughter spent four years with Audubon Engineering, most recently as vice president of midstream. During his tenure at Audubon, Laughter led the company’s midstream business unit, which engineered compression, processing, treating and storage solutions for energy customers across the United States and internationally. Before joining Audubon, Laughter held both executive and board of director positions within Wilson-Mohr, Inc. Prior to Wilson-Mohr, he held various positions at Honeywell Process Solutions and General Electric. Laughter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, now called Missouri University of Science and Technology.
