About Steve Ferazani
Steve has a diverse background that exemplifies his analytical capabilities. For nearly four years Steve was the Director of Research at Institutional Research Group, where he was the lead analyst and author of The Spin-Off Report. In this role, Steve provided pre- and post-spin price targets and recommendations on all US spin-offs and their parents. In addition, Steve launched The Spin-Off Report Radar Screen and Hidden Opportunities, which provided sum-of-the-parts valuations for potential spin-offs or other event-driven stocks. Prior to authoring The Spin-Off Report, he spent the previous five years as an energy analyst for small-cap research firm Sidoti & Co., covering a wide variety of stocks in the oilfield services and fuel distribution sectors. Prior to Sidoti, Steve was a financial writer for Standard & Poor's analyzing global macro trends across a multitude of industries. Steve is a graduate of Dartmouth College, has an MA in journalism from New York University and is a CFA charter holder.
