MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Georgian American Alloys, Inc. (“GAA”), the parent company of Felman Production LLC, CC Metals and Alloys, LLC, Felman Trading, Inc. and Georgian Manganese, LLC, today announced that Georgian Manganese will shift production at three of its furnaces from silicomanganese to ferromanganese beginning in August.
As a result of the shift, Georgian Manganese will produce approximately 3,500 tons of ferromanganese per month, which will lead to a reduction of silicomanganese production by approximately 3,000 tons per month.
