Promise Healthcare Announces New Appointments to Executive Management Team

BOCA RATON, Fla.--()--Promise Healthcare, a national long-term acute care hospital company based in Boca Raton, Florida, today announced the appointment of Richard A. Gold as President and Chief Operating Officer, James Hopwood as Chief Financial Officer, Richard Cohen as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, and Nancy F. Spivack as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Gold will direct all hospital operations and execute on strategic plan objectives. Mr. Hopwood will be responsible for planning and directing the company’s financial practices. Mr. Cohen’s responsibilities will include corporate insurance, purchasing, and tax management. Ms. Spivack will manage all activities related to the recruitment, engagement and development of our people.

Promise hospitals specialize in acute respiratory/pulmonary care (including ventilator management and weaning), infectious disease management (including long-term IV antibiotics), advanced wound management, complex medical management, and treatment for multi-organ failure and post-surgical complications. Most recently, Promise has added two skilled nursing facilities to its portfolio, which focus on long-term care.

By the end of 2014, Promise Healthcare will open two new LTAC hospitals in Fort Myers, Florida and Miami Lakes, Florida.
