Joule Names Tom Einar Jensen Head of Corporate Development

BEDFORD, Mass.--()--Joule today announced the appointment of Tom Einar Jensen as Executive Vice President, Head of Corporate Development, providing leadership in the areas of investment, business development, strategy, communication and commercialization.

Mr. Jensen comes to Joule with an 18-year track record of success in corporate and business development across multiple sectors, including oil exploration and production (E&P), upstream bauxite, alumina, aluminum and energy development and production, as well as biological high performing agricultural solutions. Prior to Joule, Mr. Jensen served as the CEO of Agrinos, a biological crop input provider based on microbial products and fermentation for improving the productivity and sustainability of modern agriculture. During his tenure he led the establishment of a platform across nearly 20 countries in all major agricultural regions for deployment of Agrinos products.

Mr. Jensen is additionally the Founder and Executive Chairman of WakeUP! AS, a web and mobile platform aimed at accelerating the adoption of sustainable technologies, services and solutions through targeted use of social media. He has previously held senior management positions in finance, strategy and business development at Norsk Hydro, today one of the world’s largest aluminum companies, with focus on the upstream areas of primary metal and the company’s previous E&P division.

Mr. Jensen holds a MSc degree in Finance and Macroeconomics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.
