LOS ANGELES--()--Grant T. Goodman has joined the Los Angeles office of the specialty investment banking and mortgage banking firm Lancaster Pollard as vice president. He will be responsible for the Northern California and Nevada markets.

“Grant brings a wealth of experience and established relationships in the healthcare sector,” said Lancaster Pollard Vice President Jason Dopoulos, who also manages the firm’s Southwest Region, which covers California, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada. “As our new business development officer for Northern California and Nevada, he will enable us to continue to reach out to providers, helping them refinance, restructure their debt, fund their expansions, renovations and other strategic capital projects.”

Lancaster Pollard, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, has provided a full range of capital funding solutions to the senior living, health care and affordable housing sectors since its inception in 1988. The company has experienced rapid growth over the past decade, establishing six regional offices nationwide and expanding its platform of services. In addition to taxable and tax-exempt bonds, Lancaster Pollard can structure debt financing using loan syndications and placements, Fannie Mae, FHA, GNMA and USDA. It can also provide bridge-to-agency lending, private equity, and mergers and acquisition services.

Before joining Lancaster Pollard, Goodman had underwritten transactions in excess of $100 million. He led the California region at GE Capital, Healthcare Financial Services. Prior to that role, Goodman oversaw capital originations for GE’s Corporate Finance business, where he was responsible for structuring, managing and executing finance transactions throughout Arizona and Nevada. He started his career in community banking, lending to local mid-market enterprises for real estate, working capital and equipment projects. Goodman holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of San Diego.
