DreamHammer Signs Drone Software Distribution Deal to Service Colombian Government Through Partner, Emerging Technologies Corporation

Unmanned Systems 2014

ORLANDO, Fla.--()--The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Conference 2014 – DreamHammer, a Santa Monica, Calif., software company which provides software for drone manufacturers, developers and integrators, announced a deal with Emerging Technologies Corporation (ETC), an authorized distributor of American-based technologies to the Republic of Colombia. Emerging Technologies Corporation will serve as the exclusive distributor and lead systems integrator of DreamHammer’s products to the Colombian Government, Armed Forces and National Police.

“DreamHammer chose to partner with ETC because they have a significant footprint and have an excellent track record as a trusted agent in Colombia for importing and integrating great technology,” said Nelson Paez, CEO of DreamHammer.

DreamHammer's technology, which is commercially available, gives U.S. allied nations a single control system that can “plug ‘n play” any number or types of Drones.

“This deal has very positive implications for American security and trade. Exporting American commercial drone technology to our Colombian partners will enable them to leap past all the technical challenges and lessons learned we had to overcome. They can now provide cost-effective, superior drone surveillance in Colombia for both public and private sector use,” said Nelson Paez, CEO of DreamHammer.

Ballista, DreamHammer’s flagship software product, allows operators to simultaneously manage a family of drones from different manufacturers with a single intuitive interface.

“The ability to bring world-class technology to a regional leading country in Latin America such as Colombia is in line with our vision and will be an integral component of Colombia’s strategic capabilities,” said Sean Rosario, Executive Vice President of Emerging Technologies Corporation. “The partnership between DreamHammer and Emerging Technologies Corporation is a natural fit in order to deliver the future solution for all Unmanned Systems throughout the various forces within the Colombian Ministry of Defense.”

DreamHammer has been licensing software and providing support services to key leading drone companies since August 2011. Ballista is poised to become the industry standard for drone software for the multi-billion dollar global unmanned systems industry.
