FirstBank Announces New Location in Mesa

Colorado-based Bank Continues Expansion in Arizona, Opens Its 14th Branch

PHOENIX--()--FirstBank Holding Company, the Colorado-based holding company for the second largest bank by deposits in Colorado and largest locally owned bank, today announced a new location at 1720 S. Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85206. This new location is approximately 4,000 sq. ft. and marks the bank’s 14th branch in Arizona.

Joel Johnson will serve as the East Valley Market President overseeing the new branch. FirstBank hired several local employees as well as relocated current employees to staff the Mesa location.

“Arizona continues to be a major growth market for our bank,” said Joel Johnson, FirstBank Market President of the East Valley. “The expansion further into Mesa provides easier access for many of our customers and brings our services, including free checking, to new neighborhoods and businesses in the area.”

The new location will offer a full range of checking and savings accounts, including free business and personal checking and FirstBank’s eSave account package, which automatically transfers 1 cent up to $99.99 to customers’ savings account each time they use a debit card, pay a bill electronically or transfer funds.

New Free Checking account members are eligible to receive a $100 Amazon gift card when they sign up and register for direct deposit or automatic bill payment. The branch will also offer mortgages, home equity loans and a full range of commercial loans and business accounts and services.

Customers who receive FirstBank’s “treasure chest key” mailer or visit the new branch from May 14 through July 14, 2014 will be entered to win one of three cash prizes, including a grand prize of $1,500.

The new branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. FirstBank customers will also have the benefit of a 24-hour ATM, telephone banking and Free Internet Banking with eStatements at www.efirstbank.com.
