WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mechanics Bank today announced the appointment of Larry Fountain as Executive Vice President and Director of Commercial Banking.
Mr. Fountain has more than 25 years commercial banking experience and most recently held the role of Executive Vice President and Regional President for the San Francisco Bay Area Market at Torrey Pines Bank in Oakland. Larry’s extensive and diverse leadership experience in business, commercial, corporate and international banking has led to his proven track record of success. He was responsible for growth and profitability with a focus on credit delivery, risk management and business development.

Mr. Fountain received his BS in Agricultural Economics and Business Management from University of California, Davis and an MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University, San Francisco. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, Washington.
