NEW YORK & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brunswick Group, a leading corporate communications partnership, is pleased to announce that Nick Lovegrove, formerly a senior partner at McKinsey, will join the firm as Managing Partner in the US, and that Simon Sporborg will become Managing Partner in the UK. Nick Claydon, Senior Partner, who has led the London office for four years, will turn his considerable expertise and experience to integrating our client offer across Europe.

Biographies
Nick Lovegrove
Nick Lovegrove joins Brunswick as our US
Managing Partner in May 2014. Nick brings decades of professional
services experience, having served for more than 30 years with McKinsey
& Company – in London and in Washington, DC. He has also spent the last
two years with the Albright Stonebridge Group, an international public
affairs advisory firm. From 2006 to 2012, Nick served as the Managing
Partner of McKinsey’s Washington, DC office during which time he and his
leadership team more than doubled client activity and revenues. Prior to
that he also led several practice areas for McKinsey across Europe,
notably in Media and Information Services, and in the firm’s Government
and Public Sector work. He has recently served as a Senior Fellow of the
John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, researching
and teaching in the Center for Business and Government; as a visiting
lecturer at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government; and as a
Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington.
Nick graduated from Oxford University with an M.A. degree in modern
history; from Harvard University with a master’s degree in public
policy; and from INSEAD with an MBA.
Simon Sporborg
Simon joined Brunswick in 1998. He has been a
Partner in the London office for nearly ten years. He works across the
consumer industries sector, as well as leading Brunswick’s real estate,
gaming and lodging practice. He has extensive experience in all aspects
of communications, including financial communications, corporate
campaigns, transactions, crises and issues management. He also sits on
the board of MerchantCantos, Brunswick’s digital business.
Prior to Brunswick, he completed an MBA at Cass Business School and served in the British Army. He is a Campaign Board Member of The Place2Be and a Governor of Central School of Ballet.
Nick Claydon
Nick Claydon, Senior Partner, joined Brunswick
in 2001. Nick has run the London office for the past four years and is
now focused on integrating our client offer across Europe. He has a
wealth of experience in advising international clients across a range of
sectors on corporate reputation, financial and crisis communications.
Nick rejoined Brunswick as a Partner in 2001 from British Airways where he was head of communications, responsible for worldwide PR. Nick was previously a political consultant in Westminster, having begun his career as a parliamentary researcher. Nick is a trustee of the think tank Demos, and a member of the corporate board of the English National Opera and the London development board of Maggie's Cancer Caring Centers.
His clients have included Unilever, Rolls-Royce, Burberry, Thomson Reuters, BP and McKinsey.
