LONDON & NEW YORK--()--Shazam®, the world’s leading media engagement company, today announced that respected industry pioneer, Lauren Zalaznick, has joined the Shazam Board as an independent Board member. Ms. Zalaznick’s extensive experience working in the television and film industries, including her tenure as Executive Vice President NBCUniversal, will add additional expertise and strength to the company.

During the last three years, Shazam has successfully expanded its service in North America to include television programming and advertising. Ms. Zalaznick’s strategic knowledge and deep operating experience will be a major asset in the development and execution of these plans.
