NEW YORK--()--Davide Mascalzoni of Gruppo Italiano Vini is named Chief Executive Officer. Rocco Lombardo will assume the position of President/Chief Operating Officer.

Dear All,

The decision to accept “Richie’s” resignation and his retirement from Frederick Wildman was bittersweet to all of us on the Board of Directors. Bitter in that Richie has been Frederick Wildman and Sons from the day he first stepped foot in the company, and the success that the company has achieved can be directly attributed to his leadership. Sweet in that it was his conscious decision to address the next phase in his life in a more leisurely manger and spend more time with his family. All of us on the Board owe him a deep debt of gratitude for his stewardship of the company and for all his achievements.

Now we must look to the future. Effective August 1, 2014 the position of Chief Executive Officer will be assumed by Davide Mascalzoni. Davide joined Gruppo Italiano Vini in May 1999 as Chief Financial Officer. He became intimately involved with Wildman immediately on the financial side. In January 2010 with his promotion to General Manager of Gruppo Italiano Vini, he became totally immersed in the Wildman business.

Also on August 1, 2014, Rocco Lombardo will assume the position of President/Chief Operating Officer. Rocco has been at Wildman for the past 17 years in many varied positions. Beginning in our Finance Department, progressing to VP Director of Finance, promoted to Senior VP taking on the additional responsibility for our Wholesale Division and on Jan 1, 2012 promoted to Senior VP/COO and adding to his responsibilities the National Brands Division. Working alongside Richie for all these years he assures continuity and stability for the future.

Davide and Rocco will work closely with me and the Board in charting the future for Frederick Wildman and Sons.

Our Italian and French Shareholders along with my colleagues on the Board have full confidence in our new management team and look forward to their leadership. Please join me in congratulations Davide and Rocco on their new positions.

Sincerely,

Rolando Chiossi
Chairman of the Board
