enVista’s Facility Design & Build Practice Achieves Record Growth in 2013

Leading supply chain consulting firm delivers over a dozen major design and build projects to meet client demand for supply chain infrastructure upgrades

MODEX 2014

ATLANTA & INDIANAPOLIS--()--enVista, a leading supply chain consulting and IT services firm, announced today at the MODEX show that its Facility Design & Build practice attained record revenue in 2013. enVista’s considerable 100 percent year-over-year growth in design and build is attributed to the deep expertise enVista brings in this area, as well as clients’ increased demand for supply chain infrastructure upgrades and willingness to make needed capital investments.

enVista has spent the last three years building a premier Facility Design & Build services team. enVista has successfully completed projects for a dozen leading retailers and distributors, including: Hibbett Sports, Sports Authority, ECCO, Dansko, Horizon Hobby, and Provide Commerce. The design build business unit will deliver over eleven large-scale projects in 2014 with a weighted pipeline greater than $75 million.

The marriage of deep supply chain consulting and third party systems integration, combined with more than 20 years of design build and cost justified engineering experience, is a game changer for enVista clients and the industry, enabling companies to partner with a single point of contact for program management, team process optimization, and facility engineering to build. The result is streamlined Facility Design & Build projects that require fewer resources, faster time to beneficial use and a single partner accountable for project success.

enVista President and CEO Jim Barnes said, “We took a different approach when we developed this business practice. We spent the last three years proving out the business model. It starts with exceptional talent that is focused on 100 percent client satisfaction. Unlike many material handling systems integrators, our livelihood is not dependent on selling material handling equipment. Our goal is to design and implement solutions that create economic value for our clients. We will not build a solution that we did not design. We take accountability for concept, detailed engineering, installation and acceptance. enVista’s design and build capabilities complement the services provided by our 250 supply chain and IT consultants. We are truly driving value and reducing waste in our clients' supply chains.”

Mike Kasperski, Managing Partner of Supply Chain Services at enVista said, “There are very few firms that can develop an IT application road map strategy for a retailer and then build a retail centric distribution center to support the strategy. The power in our solution offering is that we understand inventory optimization and product flow; as a result, we are truly optimizing supply chains from source to consumption.”

enVista will help MODEX attendees understand the difference between Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) during a conference presentation today at MODEX at 11 a.m. in Theater F.
