DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Novinda Corporation, a leader in non-carbon mercury removal technologies, announced today that it has formalized relationships with five leading injection equipment companies to provide equipment designed for optimal performance with the Amended Silicates products.
Novinda’s Applied Engineering staff worked with Jenike & Johanson and their engineering team to analyze the various material properties and flow characteristics of Novinda’s family of Amended Silicates reagents. This effort created a reference platform for equipment designs that deliver the optimal performance of Amended Silicates products.
Novinda then partnered with five injection equipment companies to ensure a seamless experience for the power utilities during implementation and operations of Amended Silicates and the related injection equipment. The companies included ADA-ES, Chemco Systems LP, Clyde Bergemann Power Group Americas, Industrial Accessories Company and Nol-Tec Systems, Inc.
As part of their efforts to support this partnership, these equipment companies:
- Utilized the reference platform as a foundation to design their specific advanced flow systems for bulk storage, transport and injection of Novinda’s Amended Silicates and next generation reagents and sorbents.
- Have extensive experience and expertise in design for storage and flow of bulk solids and, have applied this base to Amended Silicates.
- Will provide the same equipment performance guarantees for Amended Silicates as are currently offered for powdered activated carbon.
“These partnerships are critical to supporting the power utility industry’s timely and seamless implementation of mercury control technologies for MATS compliance,” said Ed Williams, Novinda CEO. “We’re very appreciative of the high quality equipment engineering companies that are committed to this mutual relationship.”
