Who:

        Dan Hubbard, Chief Technology Officer of OpenDNS has been a pioneer in Internet security for more than 20 years. His expertise spans reputation systems, large scale data mining of the Internet and advanced classification systems. He was previously CTO at Websense, where he was responsible for research and development of existing and new technologies, and conceived, built and managed the Websense Security Labs.
 

What:

Mr.Hubbard will lead two educational sessions on February 26th at the RSA Conference that explore the dynamically changing cyber threat landscape. He will moderate a panel session with three of the nation’s leading investigative reporters, Brian Krebs of Krebs on Security, Nicole Perlroth of the New York Times and Kevin Poulsen of Wired Magazine. They panelists will share their unique perspectives on cyber criminal activity, nation state threats and the privacy versus security debate.
 
Later, Mr. Hubbard will present a solo session that demonstrates how we can use big data and science to gather data breadcrumbs about cyber attacks. He will explain the role that data, traffic, telemetry analysis and graphing, can play in extracting security intelligence about zero-day threats.
