EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--HIT Application Solutions (HIT), a provider of healthcare communication solutions, is pleased to announce a partnership with Merge Healthcare Incorporated (NASDAQ: MRGE), a leading provider of innovative enterprise imaging, interoperability and clinical systems that seek to advance healthcare, to integrate its Notifi platform with Merge RIS™, an outpatient radiology information system designed to meet Meaningful Use (MU). The new solution, to be marketed as Merge Notifi™, will initially automate appointment reminders and make patient results available through messages for Merge customers.
