SOMERSET, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SHI International Corp., one of North America's top 20 largest IT solutions providers, today announced revenue of $5 billion in 2013, a 15 percent increase over 2012. SHI posted $1.5 billion in revenue for the fourth quarter, also 15 percent better than the same period the previous year.
SHI’s public sector, corporate, and enterprise commercial sales divisions each surpassed $1 billion in revenue for the first time in 2013. Combined, the strategic enterprise and international divisions accounted for an additional $2 billion in revenue for 2013.

In addition to its revenue growth, SHI added over 400 new employees at offices throughout North America and Europe in 2013, expanding its workforce to 2,500 employees, the most in its history.
Throughout 2013, SHI expanded its cloud offerings through the newly launched Cloud Marketplace, an online portal for sourcing, procuring, and managing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions from leading cloud services providers. Strategic new partnerships with Box, Google Apps, and Amazon Web Services drove further adoption of cloud services.
SHI also earned recognition from long-term partners, winning awards for Microsoft Channel Partner of the Year for state and local government and academic, as well as VMWare Solution Provider Partner of the Year. Dell named SHI its DMR Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, and the company won the Microsoft Operational Excellence Award for the 10th consecutive year.
