BELTSVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ASRC Federal has named Dave Ziegler vice president and general manager of ASRC Federal Technical Services. Ziegler, based out of ASRC Federal’s Colorado Springs, Colo., office, manages daily operations and plays a critical role in developing and implementing the strategic direction of ASRC Federal Technical Services, part of ASRC Federal’s Engineering and Aerospace Solutions operating group.

Ziegler has over 30 years’ experience supporting and leading space programs. Prior to joining ASRC Federal Technical Services, Ziegler served as program manager with Integrity Applications Incorporated, where he managed acquisition and fielding of the Electronic Schedule Dissemination 3.0 system for the Air Force Satellite Control Network. He previously served as commander of the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base; director of Air Force Space, Intelligence and Networks at the Pentagon; and space operations group commander of the 50th Operations Group at Schriever Air Force Base.
Ziegler earned his Bachelor of Science from the U. S. Air Force Academy. He earned a Master of Science in astronautical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a Master of Arts in airpower art and science from the School of Advanced Airpower Studies.
