NEW YORK--()--Metro US continues to make huge strides with leadership, shattering the glass ceiling with the promotion of Dorothy Robinson to Editor In Chief. “The official move of Dorothy to the helm of Metro has been a long time coming,” Yggers Mortensen, Metro US Publisher and CEO commented, “She has been an absolute rockstar in the wake of the late and much missed Tony Metcalf.” Metcalf passed away in July of 2013. “I look forward to watching Dorothy’s contribution to the company in her new leadership position.”

Robinson has played a leading role in the Metro newsroom for ten years – launching Metro in New York City as an editorial assistant, and rising through the ranks as entertainment reporter, Features Editor, and most recently, Managing Editor. Robinson reports directly to CEO and Publisher Yggers Mortensen.
