Wells Fargo Shareowner Services Ranks No. 1 in Customer Service, Wins 2013 TALON Award

MINNEAPOLIS--()--Wells Fargo Shareowner Services announced today it has won the Transfer Agent Leader Overall North America (TALON) large agent award again this year. The 2013 winners were selected by issuers and evaluated on a variety of customer service functions, including call center operations, reorganizations, knowledge and responsiveness. Leading the “Large Agent” category in the U.S. in 27 areas, Wells Fargo Shareowner Services received the highest rating for overall customer satisfaction, its ninth win of the last 11 years. Issuers were polled in the annual Transfer Agent Comparison Survey, which was released by Stockholder Consulting Services, Inc.

To benchmark the performance of the largest agents, Stockholder Consulting Services, in partnership with Rutgers University Graduate School of Management, developed the methodology for conducting this survey more than 20 years ago. In 2013, more than 1,000 companies participated in the email survey, evaluating overall satisfaction with their transfer agents. While industry ratings for all agents decreased slightly since last year, Wells Fargo’s overall score increased.
