KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--JE Dunn Construction Company, a $2.4 billion family and employee-owned national commercial contractor, has named Gordon Lansford, III its new President and Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2014. Lansford will be the first non-Dunn family CEO in the 90-year history of JE Dunn. He has been the Chief Financial Officer of JE Dunn for the last 15 years. Terry Dunn, previously the President and CEO of JE Dunn Construction Company, will remain CEO of JE Dunn Construction Group, the parent company of JE Dunn Construction Company. This executive leadership change is in alignment with an ongoing strategic transition plan facilitated by the company’s Board of Directors.

Also in accordance with the leadership transition plan developed by the company’s Board of Directors, which includes a set retirement age for Dunn family members, Bill Dunn, Jr., Executive Vice President, will be retiring at the end of 2013. He has worked for JE Dunn for 39 years in roles such as business development, purchasing and logistics.
