The Shidler Group Names Tony Talbert Partner – Capital Markets

HONOLULU--()--The Shidler Group, a leading commercial real estate investment firm, has named Tony K. Talbert Partner - Capital Markets. The announcement was made by the Company’s founder, Jay Shidler.

Talbert joined the organization in February focusing primarily on developing the firm’s ground lease and land sale-leaseback funding platform, used by The Shidler Group to acquire and finance leased fee interests in land underlying central business district (CBD) office buildings.

Prior to joining The Shidler Group, Talbert was with Chatham Financial Corp. where he operated for over 13 years in both their real estate investment banking and derivative advisory practices. Talbert co-founded Chatham Financial’s real estate investment banking subsidiary, Chatham Capital Advisors, advising on capital raising, restructuring, and large structured finance transactions.

Talbert holds a BS in industrial engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
