PHILADELPHIA--()--The winners of the 2013 Philadelphia 100 were unveiled on October 16 at an awards gala at the Annenberg Center on the University of Pennsylvania Campus in Philadelphia, and Futura Mobility once again made the list. The Fort Washington based mobile tech company moved up 12 spots to number 47. More importantly, Futura Mobility was one of only five companies to be inducted into the Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame, along with its owner, Janet DeNicola, for making the list five times.

Futura Mobility provides strategic planning and integration of technology solutions that support mobile workers. Following an infusion of capital by Janet DeNicola and brand redesign in 2011, the company has seen 100% growth year over year and is poised to sustain this growth as the consumerization of mobile technology continues to evolve within enterprise corporations. The company’s recent focus on innovative solutions in healthcare including telemedicine and mobile health applications has further positioned the organization for long term growth.

“What sets Futura apart is our ability to forsee trends knowing where it has been and where it is going, before they occur and to form trusting relationships with our customers as their strategic mobility advisor,” said David Gulian, CEO of Futura Mobility. “But it’s our services that have allowed us to grow as customers see the value that a committed partnership brings over the life of a mobility project.” Some of the customers mentioned by Gulian that have attributed to Futura’s rapid growth include national corporations Reynold’s Consumer Products and Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, as well as regional healthcare providers Main Line Health and Cooper University Hospital.

Making the Philadelphia 100 List is no small feat, especially in a troubled economy. Making it into the Hall of Fame is even more difficult, as only 61 companies and CEOs have been inducted to date. Even fewer individuals have been inducted into the Hall of Fame, and Janet DeNicola, is only the fourth woman in 25 years to make the Philadelphia 100 Hall of Fame.

“I am honored to be recognized as a business leader in the Philadelphia region and humbled to be among the few women to be inducted into the Hall of Fame,” stated DeNicola. “We have proven ourselves as leaders in providing strategic solutions for a mobile workforce. Our ability to anticipate technology developments and the impact these developments have on the markets we serve will allow us to continue this progress for years to come.”
