and LinkedIn Group

IHM Healthcare Experts Offer In-Depth Information and Commentary on Analytics and Quality Reporting

BURLINGTON, Mass.--()--IHM Services Company, today announced the launch of Insights into Healthcare Analytics, an informative blog by IHM experts focusing on healthcare analytics, meaningful use (MU) and other quality reporting initiatives. Developed as part of IHM’s ongoing commitment to hospital education, the blog will be complemented by a related LinkedIn group and expanded educational resource section on its newly, re-designed website.

Drawing on their deep and varied expertise and hospital experience, IHM clinical and technical experts will guide readers through the complexities of MU and other pay-for-performance programs to help hospitals achieve compliance and improve performance. The blog also will educate hospital staff about leveraging existing patient level data in their healthcare IT systems for successful reporting and improvement of quality of care and outcomes. Complementing this, the LinkedIn group will offer an interactive forum to foster discussion around blog post topics.

The re-launched IHM website will also provide a wide range of objective, educational content and downloadable tools addressing similar issues. It will offer access to research, white papers, and on-going monthly IHM educational webinars, including IHM’s new Stage 2 Lunch and Learn series and the Institute for Health Metrics CE credit webinars.

“Our goal is to provide useful information and tools for those working through the trials and tribulations of Meaningful Use and other quality reporting,” said Dr. Paulette DiAngi, Chief Clinical Information Officer and Product Manager at IHM. “We believe the new blog and LinkedIn discussion group, along with the website, will provide helpful information to those managing the switch from manual to electronic data collection and reporting. We hope these tools will help hospitals confront the complex challenges of CMS reporting and offer a vehicle for followers to express opinions, share challenges, and provide insights.”
