MENLO PARK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Square 1 Bank, the premier banking partner to entrepreneurs and the venture capital community, today announced that Bonnie Kennedy has joined the Bank's Venture Capital Services team as senior vice president. Kennedy will have end-to-end responsibility for managing and developing relationships with venture capital firms throughout Silicon Valley.

Kennedy joins Square 1 Bank from Trident Capital, a venture capital and growth equity firm, where she was managing director and chief financial officer responsible for the firm's finance, operations and investor relations functions. Earlier in her career, Kennedy spent over 20 years with Ernst & Young, including 10 as principal in the firm's San Francisco office, managing client relationships in the private equity and investment management practices.

She is also on the Board of Advisors for Price College of Business. In addition, Kennedy is a member of the Ernst & Young Alumni Council.
