Fitch Ratings has updated its criteria for reviewing unique or complex transactions. The changes from the previous report are minimal and are not expected to have any rating impact on existing ratings.
In particular, the updated report clarifies that transaction screening committees (TSCs) may determine the maximum rating level at which a proposal can proceed, in addition to determining whether a rating proposal can or cannot proceed. It also clarifies that TSCs may establish items for follow up by subsequent rating committees.
