CHARLESTON, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SCBT announced today that Will Beecher has joined its Wealth Management Group as senior vice president and trust advisor for the Charleston market.

With over a decade of wealth management experience, Beecher will focus primarily on trust and estate planning, relationship management and business development for the Coastal South Carolina markets of SCBT and First Federal.
Prior to joining SCBT, Beecher spent nearly 10 years with Wachovia/Wells Fargo, most recently as senior vice president and trust specialist for the Charleston market.
Beecher attended Brigham Young University and earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of North Florida. He is also a Certified Financial PlannerTM and a Certified Trust & Financial Advisor (CTFA).
An active member of the community, Beecher serves on the board of the Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina and on the South Carolina Banker’s Association trust committee. He is also a member of the Charleston Estate Planning Council and is a graduate of Leadership Charleston.
A native of Douglas, Georgia, Beecher has been a resident of the Charleston area since 2007. He and his wife Heather have two children and currently reside in Mount Pleasant, SC.
