2014 Florida Venture Capital Conference - Call for Sponsors and Presenting Companies

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Florida Venture Forum is calling for outstanding private Florida companies interested in applying to present at its 24th annual Florida Venture Capital Conference, to be held January 28–January 29, 2014 at the Peabody Orlando.

In addition to keynote speakers, high level panel discussions, and networking opportunities, the 2014 Florida Venture Capital Conference will coincide with the Florida Venture Forum’s 30^th Anniversary, and many “Forum alumni” will be on hand to share their stories of growth and success.

Each year the Florida Venture Capital Conference showcases 20–25 later stage, high growth private companies before an international audience of private equity investors from venture funds, corporate investment units and family offices. Entrepreneurial companies should have talented management teams, proprietary technology and high growth potential. Although presenters are typically seeking later stage funding, applicants are welcome from qualified companies even if they are not currently seeking funding.

Past presenters have been very successful from a funding standpoint, raising a total of $2.8 billion to date. Approximately 500 people attended the 2013 Conference, of which 150 were affiliated with venture capital firms from across the U.S., Europe and Latin America, representing billions of dollars in deployable capital. The Florida Venture Capital Conference has become a “must attend” networking opportunity for investors and other professionals interested in emerging Florida businesses.

Please note the final deadline is Friday, December 20, 2013. The Florida Venture Forum does not accept hard copy submissions.
