The SEH Board of Directors selected these individuals based on their superior performance, thought leadership, and the trust and respect held by their clients and peers. SEH is an employee-owned company headquartered in St. Paul, Minn. with several offices across the Midwest, Colorado and Wyoming. Jim Hall, PE
Highway Design – St. Paul, Minnesota
Managing
multi-million dollar, complex transportation projects is Jim’s area of
expertise. He is recognized by clients and peers in the consulting and
transportation arena for his leadership and ability to manage projects
that require the collaboration of many partners and disciplines and
involve a significant number of stakeholders. Most recently, he
successfully managed the consultant team which provided design and
construction oversight services for the I-494 and TH 169 interchange
located in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Jim also stays active in
engineering-related associations. He’s a board member of the Minnesota
Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers, a member of the
Minnesota Surveyors and Engineers Society’s Scholarship Committee, and
an active member in American Consulting Engineers Council-Minnesota,
having recently chaired a joint committee on pre-qualification practices.
Miles Jensen, PE
Water Engineering – St. Paul, Minnesota
Miles
leads the SEH Water Practice team of engineers and technical experts
serving the company’s clients in Minnesota, South Dakota, and North
Dakota. His 28 years of experience in consulting engineering has
resulted in the design of more than 50 water treatment plants in the
Midwest. His award-winning work on the national level includes the North
Station Facility in South Bend, Indiana, and regionally the Marshfield,
Wisconsin water plant and the Maple Grove, Minnesota plant. Miles stays
active in Minnesota and Wisconsin professional water industry
organizations and recently served as chair for the American Water Works
Association (AWWA) Minnesota Section annual conference Technical Program
Committee. He’s recognized locally and nationally as a thought leader
due to his numerous speaking engagements at water industry conferences
and seminars.
Brian Kent, CHMM
Environmental Services – La Crosse,
Wisconsin
Brian’s successful career at SEH spans 19 years,
starting as a project scientist and advancing to a senior project
manager and company Principal. His work and technical expertise centers
primarily on helping our clients develop innovative and cost-effective
solutions to address solid waste, hazardous waste and air quality
issues. His deep understanding of state and federal regulations
governing the solid waste industry and, more importantly, an
understanding of the public and private industry helps clients
successfully navigate projects to completion. Brian is also recognized
by peers and clients for being an effective communicator and
successfully managing the needs of multiple stakeholders while achieving
overall project objectives.
Dan Zienty, NACE, CIP, SSPC, PCS
Water – St. Paul,
Minnesota
For more than 21 years Dan has worked closely with
our clients to help them manage their major infrastructure investments
and life cycles by developing protective coatings solutions. To help
cities increase their revenue potential, he has helped them consider
their water towers and municipal properties as transmission sites for
telecommunications. His role as a Protective Coatings and
Telecommunications Site Specialist has resulted in clients being better
able to manage budgets and assets, and generate revenue. Dan has
authored numerous technical papers published in industry trade
publications, which has positioned him as a leader among his peers. He
has received numerous Engineering Excellence Awards from the American
Consulting Engineers Council of Minnesota for his work on water tower
restorations.
