SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Seth Stein was recently named President of The Eastridge Group of Staffing Companies (Eastridge). The announcement was made by Robert Svet, Chairman & CEO, who founded Eastridge in San Diego over four decades ago. According to Mr. Svet, this is the first promotion of its kind in the 42-year history of the company.

Since 2009, Stein has been President of Abbott Staffing Group (Abbott), an Eastridge subsidiary. Stein has also served as Executive Vice President of Eastridge’s General Services Division.
Stein is a member of the CEO Roundtable for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Young Presidents’ Organization in Orange County.
Stein also serves on the Board of Directors for CleanTECH San Diego. “This strategic announcement proves that the laser precision quality that Seth delivers to our corporate board members is certainly not the exception,” says Holly Smithson, President of CleanTECH San Diego. “Although Eastridge is privately held, its stock shot north considerably in the wake of this news.”

Stein joined Eastridge 15 years ago as an entry-level business development associate. Since then, he has led various Eastridge divisions in San Diego, Las Vegas, Houston, and Dallas.

Stein, 40, holds a Master of Science degree in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from George Washington University. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in North County, San Diego with their two children.
