***MEDIA ALERT – INTERVIEW/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY***

WHAT:

Photo and interview opportunities with fitness expert and boxing champion Laila Ali, who is kicking-off the nationwide Pfizer “Get Old” wellness campaign with an interactive event on Wednesday, June 5 from 12:15pm-1:30pm in Times Square. Event will include a group yoga class led by world’s oldest yoga teacher, 94-year old New Yorker Tao Porchon-Lynch.

Laila (daughter of Muhammad Ali, mother of two, undefeated Super Middleweight Champion) will encourage attendees to proudly proclaim their age on a jumbo-tron overlooking Times Square, and film their stories of how they want to get old for www.GetOld.com. Pfizer’s Get Old campaign is an effort to spark a candid conversation around aging and living well so people have a better quality of life at every age - and can get old the way they want.

On June 5, Pfizer and partner Generations United will release results of a nationwide, inter-generational survey on aging. The “2013 Get Old Survey” reveals that people of all ages are concerned about their ability to get old the way they want, and feel their communities are not prepared to support an aging population.
