HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aggreko, the global leader in rental power, temperature control, and oil-free compressed air solutions, is expanding in Central Texas with the opening of a service center in Three Rivers, TX to serve oil and gas customers working remotely and without grid access in the Eagle Ford Shale region. The new 3,200 sq ft facility will host both diesel and natural gas rental generators, a maintenance yard to service equipment, and sales, service and support.

Aggreko will supply the area with all the company’s major rental product lines, including:
- Power generators from 30 kW to 1500 kW with diesel, natural gas and propane-fired natural gas options
- Temperature control units including chillers, air conditioners, cooling towers and electric heaters
- Oil-free air compressors, both diesel and electric
- Refinery-grade heat exchangers
In addition to expanding its personnel and rental fleet, Aggreko will provide customers with remote monitoring capabilities to improve its ability to troubleshoot any operational issue and optimize operating efficiency. The local service team will be supported by Aggreko’s North American network of rental facilities, equipment and technical experts which spans over 50 locations.

Aggreko provides power and temperature control solutions to customers who need them either very quickly, or for a short or indeterminate length of time. Examples would be the supply of power to an industrial site which needs to service its permanent power supply, supplying a whole city in times of power shortage, or providing a major sporting event with power and cooling systems. In the Local business, which accounts for about half of our revenues, we hire our equipment to customers, who then operate it for themselves, although we retain responsibility for servicing and maintaining it.
