Multi-Platform Advertising Solutions Leader Adds Strategic Media Consulting Arm

NEW YORK--()--INVISION, Inc., the leading provider of multi-platform advertising solutions to the media industry, announced today that it has acquired Theory M, a provider of strategic consulting services and custom software development and design to the media industry. Theory M will become a wholly owned subsidiary of INVISION.

INVISION supports linear and digital advertising with innovative, modern solutions that manage rate cards, proposals, deal maintenance, traffic operations, billing, stewardship, business intelligence, and reporting. Leveraging two decades’ worth of experience in the traditional TV ad sales business, INVISION has implemented integrated solutions for over 160 clients worldwide in the broadcast, cable, syndication, digital, and satellite markets. With the added consultative expertise of Theory M – which helps companies understand and navigate the media industry’s rapidly changing technologies, business models, and dynamics – INVISION will be able to offer the sophisticated strategies and roadmaps its clients need to optimize their businesses, as well as the robust technology systems that their operations require.

Christina Barlowe has been brought on to develop strategic partnerships and lead Theory M as Vice President and General Manager. Having held senior roles at Verizon Fios, Sirius Satellite Radio, HBO, and Rainbow Media Holdings, Christina brings a breadth of experience in the areas of strategy, business operations, and technology with her to the company. Immediately prior to joining Theory M, Christina was Vice President of System Integration & Operations at Cablevision, where she was responsible for developing technology solutions to enable marketers and the sales organization to manage audiences, personalize consumer experiences, combine consumer data and analytics, and integrate a multi-platform ecosystem. In that capacity, she developed the company’s system infrastructure and re-engineered business process in sales, product management, and reporting and analytics to support Cablevision’s advanced advertising sales process.
