CCSi Awarded DHS Contract

Federal solutions provider will help DHS OCIO modernize IT security and systems in compliance with latest agency security standards

ROCKVILLE, Md.--()--Creative Computing Solutions, Inc (CCSi), a leading provider of program/project management services, cybersecurity and security services, and enterprise systems engineering to the federal government has been awarded a new contract (HSHQDC-13-F-00015), valued at $6,569,321.60, to support the DHS OCIO for a period of performance of a base year and two option years; January 16, 2013 through January 15, 2016. The contract was awarded through the GSA purchasing schedule IT 70, which provides federal, state and local government agencies a wide range of information technology and telecommunications hardware, software, and professional services.

CCSi will provide the DHS OCIO’s Enterprise System Development Office (ESDO) with IT security and IT systems engineering services to maintain the security baselines of all ESDO systems in accordance with the DHS Sensitive Systems Policy Directive 4300 A. The Directive serves as a foundation for DHS Components to develop and implement their IT security programs.

CCSi has a proven record of success within DHS. CCSi currently provides similar IT security services to the DHS OCIO’s Information Technology Services Office (ITSO) a sister organization to ESDO. “CCSi has a successful track record of working with DHS on information system security, quality assurance, and program management,” said Dr. Naren Bewtra, president and chief operating officer of CCSi. “With this contract win, we further strengthen our coveted relationship with the department to provide sought-after and trusted security services.”

Under the terms of the contract, CCSi will deliver compliance and performance monitoring, a security education and awareness campaign, risk management, security program management assessments and security control design services to strengthen the security posture of all ESDO systems. The end-result will ensure integrity, availability and authenticity within the DHS IT infrastructure and operations.
