SAN FRANCISCO--()--Incase has been awarded U.S. Patent No. 8,328,008 for its innovative Book Jacket design for tablets. Granted on December 11, 2012, this patent, along with U.S. Patent No. 8,312,991 B2, details the invention of a tablet case that provides device protection and enhanced functionality through an integrated stand feature with multiple viewing positions built into the case design.

The Book Jacket has been a hallmark form in the Incase product offering since the release of the first-generation iPad. The case, first called the Convertible Book Jacket, was designed to enhance the iPad user experience by providing protection while supporting the various ways that the device is utilized.
