Dain McCracken named Senior Vice President of International Sales

COLUMBIA, Md.--()--Closing out its most successful year to date, Message Systems today announced that global solutions marketing expert Dain McCracken has joined the company as senior vice president, international sales. A year of strong growth for Message Systems, 2012 saw the company opening four new offices around the world, adding to its executive ranks and building out its engineering, sales, marketing and customer success teams. The company completed a successful Series B funding round with private equity firm LLR Partners in June, and announced a number of major international e-business brands as customers, including European professional network XING and Chinese ISP and portal provider Tom Online. Mr. McCracken is chartered with continuing this strong growth on the international front into 2013 and beyond.

A recognized expert in global solutions marketing and sales readiness techniques, Dain McCracken has a passion for delivering high-value messaging solutions to solve unique business needs. Dain joined Message Systems after serving in a number of leadership roles in the consulting, software and supply chain/logistics industries. Before joining Message Systems, Dain served as vice president at Motum, LLC, where he helped numerous Fortune 100 clients achieve breakthrough revenue performance through the effective alignment of business strategy, marketing, sales and delivery.

Earlier in his career Dain worked at i2 Technologies, where he led the sales consulting effort in the United States for i2’s after-market service and supply chain solution. Previously, Dain established and led after-market sales and customer service for a provider of telecommunications voice and data solutions, and held a senior position for a Dallas-based international logistics provider, where he helped the company to achieve a more than 70% increase in revenue run rate. Dain has a Bachelor of Science degree in information systems from the University of North Texas.
