RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WellAware Systems, a leader in remote patient monitoring for senior care providers, announced today the appointment of Perry Josey as its vice president of sales, effective immediately.
Josey joins WellAware with over 25 years of experience in enterprise business development and sales management in the health care and technology industries. Most recently, he was with United Health Care’s OptumInsight, responsible for sales of ITO/BPO and clinical/professional services solutions to health care payers. Prior roles included business development with Unisys Health Information Management Division and First Health Services Corp/Coventry Health. In all these roles, Josey focused on large clients including sales to ACOs, insurers and public sector health care programs Prior to his recent health care industry focus, he developed and managed partnering deals for Viasoft/Allen Systems Group's enterprise software solutions working with solution providers such as IBM Global Services, CSC, Anderson Consulting and Keane, among others. Josey has a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
In this new role, Josey will use his extensive senior-level business development and strategic sales experience to help drive WellAware’s market share growth and business expansion.
