New Dawn Technologies Welcomes Successful Texas Customers

LOGAN, Utah--()--New Dawn Technologies is finishing up its best year in its sixteen-year history. New Dawn Technologies’ Texas customers have helped make that possible. Texas customers have purchased the New Dawn Technologies’ JustWare | Solution Suite as their case management software system. In recent months other Texas projects have launched; more go-lives are on the docket before the year’s end.

New Dawn Technologies, a Utah-based company, has served communities worldwide by providing leading-edge web-based case management software, public access software, and data sharing solutions for every type of government agency. The number of Texas customers is growing rapidly and includes the Webb County District Attorney, a county-wide judicial and prosecutor implementation in Lamb County, the Midland County Pre-Trial Services Agency, a county-wide courts and justice implementation currently underway in Bell County, and the launch of JustWare for the State Bar of Texas in the coming months.

Within five months of contract signing with New Dawn Technologies in mid-2012, Midland County Pre-Trial Services is live and running.

“Our staff members were especially energetic to get JustWare configured and launched,” said Priscilla Bonilla, office supervisor for Midland County. “We worked closely with the New Dawn Technologies team to build and identify specific goals and deadlines for the project. We are pleased by the implementation speed and the configurability of the case management system.”

Lamb County, Texas, also went live with JustWare recently. Lamb County is a county-wide implementation of JustWare | Court and JustWare | Prosecutor. The go-live process for Lamb County includes four offices: the District Attorney, the District and County Clerks and the Justice of the Peace.

A partnership with Spillman Technologies, Inc. will electronically file arrests to the JustWare database, reducing data entry and accelerating case processing time.

“We selected New Dawn Technologies as our case management solution because it met our configurability requirements,” said Scott Say, IT director for Lamb County. “Our technology committee worked for over a year and a half and studied software from more than twelve vendors before selecting the solution that best fit our needs.”

“Lamb County represents a successful, multi-agency court implementation and is one of many,” said Thomas P. Higgins, president and CEO of New Dawn Technologies. “This year alone we have gone live with more than twenty JustWare implementations—our highest number in a single year.”

Currently there are more than 10,000 licensed JustWare users. More than 300 agencies use JustWare including international customers such as the Judiciary of Guam, prosecutors in Australia and Sierra Leone.

By developing smart technologies, New Dawn also builds strong communities. New Dawn Technologies serves government customers—from criminal courts to specialty, civil, and municipal courts; attorney generals and county prosecutors to public defenders; community corrections and probation to child, family, and health services. New Dawn’s JustWare | Solution Suite is scalable and flexible enough to use in a single agency or in a large, multi-agency project spanning several states.
