AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Invodo, the business video experts, today announced that the company has further strengthened its management team by appointing John Whitmarsh, a corporate financial management veteran, to the newly-created position of Chief Financial Officer.
Whitmarsh has deep experience in technology software, corporate development, growth capital raising, and financial and accounting operations.
Invodo CEO Craig Wax said that the company’s rapid growth and the expansion of the business made it the ideal time to hire a CFO.

Prior to joining Invodo, Whitmarsh was the CFO of Message One Inc., a software provider of email management and archiving services. He played a key role in helping grow MessageOne’s valuation, which led him to being named a 2009 Best CFO by the Austin Business Journal. MessageOne was acquired by Dell Inc. in February 2008.
Whitmarsh has also held CFO roles at Misys Healthcare Transaction Services (acquired by Allscripts), Digital Motorworks Inc. (which was acquired by Automatic Data Processing Inc.) and Century Payments. Whitmarsh is a CPA and began his career in audit, tax and corporate transactions, most recently with international CPA firm KPMG.
