SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Golden Gate University (GGU) was recently ranked among the top schools in the country in two recent graduate tax program surveys by JobsInTax, part of the TaxTalent network, the largest online network for tax professionals. In addition to an MS Tax program consistently ranked in the top 10 by both alumni and tax hiring authorities, GGU's LLM Tax program was ranked among the top 10 in the country by tax hiring authorities surveyed.
“We’re proud to be ranked with such high esteem from so many heads of corporate tax departments across the country,” said Mary Canning, Dean of GGU’s Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation and School of Accounting. “Congratulations to our incredibly talented and widely skilled full-time and adjunct faculty who bring our student body access to the most extensive offerings of relevant and current courses across multiple areas of tax and accounting specialization.”
GGU’s Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation is focused on teaching students high-end knowledge and practical skills that they can immediately apply in their jobs. The school is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
“The hands-on experience at GGU has earned the respect of the industry's leading firms,” says Bruce Braden, the alumnus and GGU trustee for whom the school is named. “Major accounting firms and businesses actively seek out and recruit GGU graduates, and they also rely on Golden Gate University for continuing education and professional training for their employees.”
The rankings by JobsInTax are based on the responses of 151 heads of corporate tax departments. Respondents were asked to select up to five schools (out of 32) with LLM Tax programs that they hold in the highest regard when hiring candidates. Schools were then ranked based on the total number of votes they received.
