Glilot Capital Partners Invests $1.5 million in Real-time Business Intelligence Startup Insightera

TEL AVIV, Israel--()--Glilot Capital Partners, an Israeli-based fund focused on early-stage companies in the security, Internet and mobile markets, today announced a $1.5 million investment in Insightera, a developer of real-time B2B marketing software.

Insightera was founded in 2010 by Mickey Alon and Mike Telem, who serve as CEO and vice president of business development, respectively. Insightera’s software accelerates B2B customer acquisition by segmenting and adapting to inbound prospects based on their intent and potential in real-time, thereby gaining the prospect’s undivided attention. Insightera complements and accelerates existing marketing solutions by leveraging proprietary real-time big data analytics, creating meaningful customer interactions and improved B2B online conversions. Since the SaaS-based solution was launched, dozens of global organizations have reported an immediate increase in their ROMI (Return on Marketing Investment).

The investment in Insightera marks the third investment for Glilot Capital, which began operations in 2011 and invests in the fields of cyber and IT security, software, Internet and mobile applications. Glilot’s first two investments were in Porticor (www.porticor.com), a developer of cloud security and encryption solutions, and Light Cyber (www.lightcyber.com), a developer of solutions to identify and prevent cyber-attacks and advanced persistent threats. Glilot's founding partner, Arik Kleinstein will join Insightera's board of directors.

“Insightera operates in the fast-growing real-time business intelligence segment, enabling B2B companies to accommodate their marketing and sales systems to the unique needs of every potential customer,” said Kleinstein. “We believe that Insightera’s technological uniqueness and commercial vision, coupled with its strong founding team and proven customer track record is a winning combination.”

“The proliferation of available data through social media and cloud-based services created an opportunity for businesses to capitalize on their online marketing assets,” said Mickey Alon, Insightera’s co-founder and CEO. “With Insightera’s real-time technology, businesses are able to leverage online visitors’ undivided attention and auto-engage them with relevant content when they are most receptive.”

Insightera’s cloud-based platform creates high value by using and maximizing the performance of existing marketing solutions and doesn’t require any complicated integration, added Mike Telem, co-founder and VP of business development.
