Vanyi-Robin Response to Motive TV's Statement on Court Hearing

LONDON--()--Further to the announcement made by Motive TV plc on 4 July 2012, André Vanyi-Robin issues the following response:

“As of yesterday 3 July 2012, the court made an order permitting that my claim against Motive TV Plc (“Motive”) that they induced or procured the wrongful termination of my service agreement with Adecq may proceed to trial.

“The trial of my claim has been listed to take place early next year.

“Although Motive sought an order that the costs of yesterday´s hearing should be determined at the trial, I sought that the costs should be in my favour. The court felt that neither route was the correct one and made an order that neither party should obtain theirs costs for yesterday´s hearing.

“It is certainly not the case that I am a mischief maker as Motive TV has stated. I have received a fraction of the agreed price for the sale of my company. Motive has wrongfully refused to pay the balance owed to me and my claims proceed.

“Finally, Motive made an attempt at the hearing yesterday to prevent my claim that they induced my wrongful termination from proceeding, an attempt which has failed.”
