Global Infrastructure Partners Announces the Appointment of James P. Jenkins as a Managing Director

NEW YORK--()--Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a leading, independent global infrastructure investor, announced today that James P. Jenkins has joined the firm as a Managing Director based in New York.

Mr. Jenkins will oversee GIP’s investor relations group, including helping to deepen GIP’s relationships with large limited partners. He also will coordinate certain limited partner activities in evaluating prospective co-investment opportunities with GIP’s second investment fund, GIP II.

Jim began his career as an investment banking generalist at Lehman Brothers and then became a reorganization and leverage finance specialist at Credit Suisse. Mr. Jenkins spent 10 years at two hedge funds, most recently at King Street Capital Management, where he was involved in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, represented the funds on the boards of directors of several companies and also was active in the investor relations group.
