Joseph Davis joins the company as Chief Executive Officer and a member of SupportSpace’s Board of Directors, and Tim Whipple comes to the company as its Vice President of Service Operations. The addition of both Davis and Whipple positions SupportSpace for its next phase of industry leadership, expansion and scalability as it prepares for growth in 2012.

About Joe Davis

As Chief Executive Officer, Davis is responsible for all aspects of SupportSpace’s management, operations and vision and joins the company’s Board of Directors. Davis brings over 25 years of executive management experience to the SupportSpace team.

Prior to SupportSpace, Davis was CEO and President of Coremetrics, Inc. for seven years, which was sold to IBM in 2012. During his tenure, Coremetrics' revenue growth averaged 57% per year. Davis also served as the Group Vice President and General Manager of the CRM division at PeopleSoft, where he led the worldwide development and overall strategy for the CRM product division. At PeopleSoft, he turned the CRM division into the fastest growing product line within PeopleSoft. Prior to his tenure at PeopleSoft, Davis served as President of Nortel Networks' eBusiness division, where he held full P&L responsibility for a division of 1,500 employees and over $300 million in revenues. Before that, he served as General Manager of Remedy's CRM division, leading Lotus Development's Silicon Valley office, and managing all service and support initiatives for Everex Systems. Davis currently serves as Director of Vizu Corporation. He earned an MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business and received a B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mechanics from UC San Diego.

Yair Grindlinger, Co-Founder and former CEO of SupportSpace, will continue to serve on the company’s Board of Directors.

In his role at SupportSpace, Whipple is responsible for growing and optimizing the SupportSpace Expert Network and working with existing SupportSpace partners and prospective partner accounts as they build, launch and manage their technical support offering. Whipple reports to Joe Davis, SupportSpace’s new CEO.

Prior to joining SupportSpace, Whipple was the Vice President of Service Delivery for LiveOps, Inc., a leading provider of SaaS technology and an on-demand virtual workforce in the contact center space. At LiveOps, Whipple lead the company’s 20,000-plus virtual independent agent community. Whipple has also held senior management positions at Synapse Group (a division of Time Warner), Zacson and BMI, and was Director of Contact Center Sales Operations at Victoria’s Secret.
