Like PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), GnuPG is an encryption software, implementing the Specifications for Pretty Good Privacy (OpenPGP) according to RFC 4880 of the Internet standard setting body IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force).
Like PGP, GnuPG uses a hybrid encryption process to this end consisting
of the transfer of a public key for encryption and of a private key for
